Algorithms to take you further

The chorus effect is the classic we love. It makes the sound appear wider and fuller, as if there are several slightly different versions of the same sound playing together, creating a sense of richness and depth.

A chorus effect that focuses on enhancing and enriching the natural harmonies of the original signal. It adds slightly detuned copies of the original signal, but instead of just varying the frequency, the harmonic chorus adjusts the modulation to emphasize and amplify specific harmonic frequencies, creating a more complex and tonally rich sound. The result is a smoother, more musical sound texture, with a sense of depth and harmonious coloring.

The flanger effect creates a “swooshing” sound by mixing two identical copies of an audio signal and then shifting one of them slightly in time. This creates peaks and valleys in the frequency response, causing a phase variation effect called “comb filtering”, which produces that characteristic sound.

Much like Flanger, this algorithm will divide the audio signal into two parts, one of which is delayed relative to the other. These parts are then combined, creating peaks and valleys in the frequency response. But unlike the Flanger, the Phaser uses a series of filters to modify the signal, producing a sound that appears to “rotate” or “sweep” through the frequencies.

The tremolo effect is an audio effect that modulates the volume of an audio signal over time. It creates rhythmic variations in volume, increasing and decreasing the intensity of the sound on a regular basis. This can create a pulsating or vibrating effect, adding movement and dynamism to the music.

A harmonic tremolo that introduces an effect that emphasizes the harmonics of the original note, creating a more complex and textured sound. The result is a richer, brighter sound with a distinctive harmonic character.
